Employing an Afrocentric approach in his study, he argues that the life and work of Nkrumah offer an essential philosophical foundation and strategic model of optimal agency in the pursuit of Pan-African initiatives and critical Afrocentric studies. Professor Poe begins his account with a presentation of key terms and essential conceptual considerations engaged in developing his methodology and an Afrocentric paradigm.
